FORMER U.S. PRESIDENT GERALD FORD HAS DIED

The 38th President of the United States has died on Boxing Day. Gerald Ford besides renewing hope to the White House following the Watergate Scandal has a few unique records to his name. Ford was the longest living president in American history as well as being the only U.S. president not to have ever been elected. He died on Dec. 26 at the age of 93.

It has been an atroceous three months since my last posting. I apologise for this and offer up no excuse for my absense from this place. I had final exams to worry about, and work of course but nothing that could have prevented me from posting a little more often then every three months. BACK FROM MY RANTING HIATUS It's been awhile since the last time I posted a rant on here and for that I apologize. Of course there are reasons behind my procrastination. Spring break, lots of birthdays, school, and work have all thrown their hats at me in recent weeks but now I am back... and better than ever. Today's rant will not have a specific focus other than catching up for both you and I on Canada's and the rest of the world's events. And what a busy couple of weeks it has been. There have been numerous international, national, and provincial headlines that have caused some serious controversy, change, and reaction from all over. Today is the 5th anniversary of the terrible events of September 11th, 2001. I am speaking to you from the Hall of Honour in the Centre Block of Parliament.
